Russ has an extensive background in leading management teams to successful outcomes, having served as Chief Executive of a broad range of both publicly traded and private businesses. Prior to joining Game Ready in 2006 to head the company’s international efforts, Russ was a leader at the Center for Corporate Innovation. There, he worked as an advisor with CEOs of some of the largest and most impactful healthcare firms, including payors, providers, medical device manufacturers, and pharmaceutical companies.

Russ was also the founding President of AMR Information Services, Inc., quickly building it from startup to an enterprise of more than 4800 professionals, operating six profitable businesses and partnerships. As CEO of Health Systems Design Corp., Russ and his team tripled revenue to nearly $30 million in two years, achieving sustained profitability. Russ has also served as CIO at McKesson Corporation and Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques, and as Senior Vice President of the Bank of America.

Russ received an MBA with Honors from Saint Mary’s College of California, where he currently serves as a Trustee, a past president of the Board of Regents. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California, and thereafter served four years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam and as liaison to the White House in Washington, DC. Russ lives in Alamo with his wife Cyndie and enjoys athletics, photography, playing the guitar, and—at the top of the list—his large family.
