Alan J. Nixon, BVSc, MS

Alan Nixon is a Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons, Professor of Large Animal Surgery at Cornell University and Director, Comparative Orthopaedics Laboratory. He graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia, BVSc with Honors. Dr. Nixon completed his internship in Large Animal Surgery in 1979 and received his MS and completed his residency in Large Animal Surgery, both from Colorado State University in 1983. He has been Board Certified with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons since 1985.
